Download & Connect

You need a World of Warcraft 3.3.5a client. If you already have one, skip to the realmlist step and use the launcher or manual patches below.

Download the client files

The launcher is the easiest option. It applies the Private Server X patches, updates your realmlist, clears cache, and launches the game.

Manual patch users should place patch-X.MPQ in Data and patch-enUS-X.MPQ in Data/enUS.

Set the realmlist

Open your WoW folder and navigate to Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf. Replace the entire file with:

set realmlist 47.165.210.114

If your client uses another locale folder, such as enGB or deDE, edit the realmlist file in that folder instead.

Create your account

Register a Private Server X account. The username and password you create here are the same ones you use on the game login screen.

Launch and log in

Run Wow.exe directly or use the Private Server X launcher. Log in with your website account, select the Private Server X realm, and create your character.
